Days don't always work out as you plan

So we got up this morning with plans of taking our friends Evie and Evie's Mommy to the Library for storytime and then to the park. But days don't always go as you plan...Poor Kristina locked her keys in the car. Instead we played in the Jolly jump and enjoyed hanging out at the house while waiting for AAA to show up. Please pray that Caleb doesn't remember that he was supposed to go to the Library today...that's a conversation I am not in the mood for. Maybe tomorrow :)

I have goofballs!

If you look close you can catch Jack's classic squezzy face ;)

Our week in a nutshell!

So I haven't been able to get on very much this past week and here are 10 reason's why!!
10. Caleb finished up a lovely, but luckily short, pink eye!
9. We got a Dog! Well John's mom and dad got a dog and we get to play with her!
The boys love her! Caleb talks about "molly" all the time :)He likes to take her
for walks around the house. She is so good with the boys!!

8. Jackson started the week with nightly fevers that would go away during the day ??
7. Despite the fevers we still tried to get out of the house. We went to storytime at the library and the theme was "birthday party" so we came home and made birthday cake!

6. By Thursday night Jackson's fevers spiked up to 104. and we became concerned.
5. We took him to the doctor friday and he ended up having a double ear infection :( I am just so grateful we went to the doctors instead of trying to wait it out. Doctors just aren't fun with out health insurance but you gotta do what you gotta do!
4. The meds made Jack really sleepy. we found him passed out in the living room

3. despite the chaos of sick boys John and I made efforts to spend time out! we went to see Australia at the $2 theatre! I do not recommend it :)
2. John performed at Starbucks in Camarillo on Saturday night! So Awesome! He is just so talented :) Thanks to all our friends who came out to support. It was a really great night of fellowship and music

1. I am really tired!! I have had plenty of naps this week but when your spirit is tired sleep doesn't always help. The stress of your little ones being sick can really wear on you and I just haven't had a lot of time to myself. I think I need a
"Me Retreat" :)

Walking the Plank!

Jack is finally walking! It came as such a shock. I was just playing on the floor with him and he started taking longer and longer steps. By the time I got the camera he was pretty pooped. But he tried:)

Fun at Micah's

short video but I just love hearing all three of them giggle together. They had so much fun!

Have you met this guy?

For those of you who have never met the coolest cat here he is....Jackson James! He has to be one of the funniest 15 month olds, I know I, have ever met. He is always smiling, always making people laugh, always dancing, always climbing, always hugging, always making his "squeezy face", always kissing, always playing, and if he is not doing all those things then he is always EATING! I love this little man and even though he "will never leave me alone!!" I can't get enough of him! (click on the collage to see the pictures enlarged)

Naked Horseback Riding!

These are the moments I cherish. The boys running from their towels that were wrapped around them and hopping on their horses to ride off to a place where being naked is a lifestyle. Oh to be young and shameless again!(click on the collage to enlarge the picture)

It's been a while

So it's been a while. Life has been far too crazy and frankly I just don't have time to spend on the computer. But I thought I'd update you a little of what's been going on!Can I just tell you how truly amazing God has been this holiday season?! Don't get me wrong, He is always amazing, but He has truly revealed to our family His real and active presence in our lives. We have been so blessed by so many anonymous people this Christmas season. So many faithful and giving hearts that felt led by the Holy Spirit and were obedient. Thank you! Thank you to all of you out there that have taken care of our family this holiday season. God has also blessed our family with a full time job for John! We will have medical insurance and a steady income!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks with Lots of family, and friends around which is always such a blessing but also so exhausting!! We had an awesome Christmas (too see pics see my facebook)! The boys are the greatest gift we have ever received. I am so grateful everyday to have happy, healthy boys who are learning and growing all the time. My hope and prayer for this new year is that We love, serve and glorify our God and that we desire to know Him more!
