DISNEYLAND!

We had the most awesome day at Disneyland on Monday!
Thank you to those who prayed that we would have the chance to go. The date had been set but because we were uncertain of Rubies condition we thought we might have to cancel!
We didn't praise the Lord! And we had a fabulous time!
Because of our uncertain plans we decided to not even tell the boys we were going. We would hate to get them all excited and then cancel. So we thought it best to just not say anything......all the way there!!!
We got them out of bed at 5:30am and told them we were going somewhere special but that was it!

When we got there we met up with Johns sweet friend AMY! She is the one that made this day happen. She told us that she wanted to get us in to Disneyland, and that she had a friend who works there that may have extra tickets! She met up with us that morning to make sure we got in OK! We met up with her and her AWESOME friend Aaron who who works for Disneyland. She greeted us with gift bags for the boys with Disneyland T-shirts, autograph books & Disney Dollars!! Then they non chalantly mentioned that we were not only going to Disneyland but that these were "park hoppers" which means we got to go to both parks!! I swear we thought we won some all inclusive trip, you get off a game show or something!! It was amazing! THANKS AGAIN!

We got in and headed straight for Dumbo! Which was a blast! Jackson giggled the whole time.

What was great was that I never felt like John and I were missing out not hitting the bigger rides, cause I couldnt go on them anyway, being pregnant. So we did whatever the boys wanted whenever they wanted. They did fabulous all day. Not even a need for a nap! Jack got to meet Mickey and Pluto (Caleb was still too freaked out by it)


We ran into our sweet friends the Fletchers and in the evening our friends Josh and Jessie even came up from San Diego to spend the evening with us and go out to dinner after!
Aside from being totally beat at the end of the day, it could not have been more perfect and prayed over! Thanks again to everyone for their prayers!

Jack's Birthday!

We started the day with balloons, breakfast, and presents! Skyped with Cracker Nessa, talked with auntie coco and watched Rio
We then headed to our neighbors miss marias for a backyard swim party! Kids played in the pool, jumped on the jolly jump, and enjoyed my failed attempt at angry bird cupcakes:) it was so nice and relaxing to kick back with friends and enjoy the day. Thank to all who came out to celebrate jacks special day!
When daddy got home jack requested we go to In N Out for dinner then to toys r us to spend his $10 from Grammie and Papa. He ended sleeping through his dinner but eventually woke up in the car to finish his burger and shake. Then off to Toys R Us where he found a spiderman punching bag to bring home!
We still plan on surprising the boys with Disneyland on Monday! Pray we get the chance to get away as a family:)
